While we like to talk about the wonderful functional aspects of the products we sell, don’t forget about the intrinsic value that buying an item from us provides. Our products are more than just another pretty thing from the store, they are full of meaning, purpose and provides a means of income to those who truly need it. Consider what the purchase of this product means for the artisan who made it. For Zak, it means he is a lot more like his peers who are now independent adults.
Hello to a new Weaver!

We hope that after everyone feels safe, we’ll be able to have more people return to the studio. In the meantime, we’re looking for ways to take advantage of our new work situation, and with that brings some great news! With less people on site, and a bit more “free” time we have a great opportunity to train a new worker. We are excited to announce that we have a new weaver working with us now, Leah!

Behind The Scenes: Creating the Lights Lantern

This week we are excited to announce that we have a new color of Lights Lanterns available! Not only do we have the original Multicolor Lights Lantern but now we have the new Blue Lights Lantern. To celebrate the release of our new design we'd love to show you the process of making these gorgeous lanterns.
Returning to the Studio

We are excited to announce that as of this week, we have begun returning to the studio! Of course- this is only really an option for a limited group of participants -but we are excited to get started working again! As of Wednesday our Alexandria workers were able to return and begin their weaving again! The health and safety of our staff and adults is vital part of our re-opening plan, so we have put a lot of thought into setting up our spaces to keep everyone healthy.
